Rotterdam Salsa Festival

The second edition of the Rotterdam Salsa Festival takes place Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November 2026 at Theater Zuidplein, Gooilandsingel 95 in Rotterdam-Zuid — one of the city's modern cultural venues, with multiple halls and a spacious foyer perfectly suited to a festival programme. After a successful first edition the festival has quickly claimed a spot on the Dutch Latin calendar. For three days the programme revolves around workshops, shows and parties with Cuban salsa, bachata and kizomba as the leading styles. Friday night opens the festival with the opening party — an evening to arrive, meet old friends and pick up the festival vibe. Saturday is the main day: a full workshop programme for all levels during the day, followed by the gala-night with live shows, top DJs and continuous social floors. Sunday wraps up with a final workshop round and a closing party. The Cuban-salsa stream is deliberately strongly represented, with casino, rueda and timba workshops alongside the more LA-style and bachata tracks.
